On Friday, the Environment, Development and Transport Committee of Norfolk County Council will decide on the Traffic Order to open Harding's Way South to motor traffic, including HGVs.
The Conservatives have 9 out of 13 votes on the Committee and it will be a whipped vote. So we need to get them to abstain or walk out to keep the road safe for cyclists, pedestrians and children going to Whitefriars school.
It would be good if as many of the public as possible turn up to show opposition to the proposals. The meeting takes place at the Committee Room (the Edwards Room) at County Hall, Martinau Lane, Norwich NR1 2UA starting at 10am. County Councillor Alexandra Kemp will be speaking against the proposals on our behalf, as well as a representative from King's Lynn Bike Users Group.
It would be great if you could attend to give support.
