Happy New Year and thank you for your help and support over the last year, whether riding with us, going to events, helping with consultation responses, or otherwise. There were some key plans made or approved last year which should see more cycle routes open over the next two or three years, following the Dersingham to Ingoldisthorpe rail trail that opened in 2023.

The first consultation of the year is probably the A10 diversion. There's an event 4pm-9pm on Tuesday 9 January at West Winch Primary School and it would be great to have more cycling voices there. We're concerned that insufficient thought is being given to the current two primary cycle routes affected (blue and gold in the Lynn Cycling Plan) and that they might be cut in two by the new route, with very poor crossings, perhaps as bad as those at the QE Hospital roundabout. Our Sunday rides will continue to start from Lynnsport at 10am, but for January we will decide the destination on the day depending on weather conditions and riders present.  Remember that we welcome all comers.  We ride at the pace of the slowest.  No one is left behind.
