The Lynn News reports that UK Power Networks has apologised for the substandard blocking of the Reffley-Springwood cycleway. Thank you UK Power Networks. We hope that future diversions by you and other utility companies will be signed properly in future, in line with the Code of Practice on Safety at Streetworks which says "You must ensure suitable provisions are made for the safety of cyclists passing or crossing the works. Particular care is needed where cycle lanes or cycle tracks are affected by street works or road works because these routes may be especially popular with cyclists."

We're told by group members that a way past the works has been opened and neither the official diversion via the A148 or the unofficial rough footpath need be used any longer.
