We are in the process of setting up the May/June rides list. In the meantime here are the first two dates:
Reach Fair Ride (train assist) Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May See train times below. A ride guided by the Ely Cycling Campaign, Monday 2nd May 10am Ely Railway Station. Train from Lynn at 08:44 arriving 09:16 (32m, direct) or 09:09 arriving 0947 (38m, direct): £7.20 Super Off-Peak Day Return. Return group ride leaves Reach 3pm or make your own way when ready. A bigger ride leaves Cambridge Marketplace 10.00am if you prefer.
Day Ride to Support The Samaritans Sunday 8th May 10.00am Lynnsport We will visit Snettisham Park Farm some time between 10-5 to donate, and there will be an opportunity for refreshment at the café.
Plans in the offing include the following:
London Freecycle (train assist) Sunday 29th May. First train from Lynn 0825 arrives 1010, £28.60 day return, follow CS6 south to the Freecycle sightseeing loop.
Jubilee ride 75km (or 75miles) on Jubilee long weekend. Ayscoughfee Hall Spalding could be the 75 miles.
Pete Ayton Out of Town ride. Picnic rides: Barrow Common; Ten Mile Bank near Denver (option to train assist to or from Downham or Watlington if wanted to shorten); Outwell. St Ives (train assist to Cambridge North). March. Holkham or Wells. Samuel’s. Jack’s
King’s Cross to King’s Lynn (train assist) 111 mile SATURDAY 18th June, opposite if head wind. Train times yet to be published by the railway.
