The Sand Line cycle track is being resurfaced and may be closed 9am-3pm for four weeks from Monday 9 May. The diversion (eastbound) will be by continuing along National Route 1 to the Hulton Road slip, right onto Queen Mary Road, straight on to Parkway, then right onto Bridge Way cycle track - the westbound diversion is the reverse. The Sand Line cycle track is also sometimes known as the Swaffham Belt Path or the Fairstead-Tennyson Cycleway.
Also, the Sandringham Railway cycle track, National Route 1, will be affected by nearby construction work and may be closed between the northern edge of Lynnsport and the Marsh Lane junction between 31 May and 8 July. The diversion will be onto Front Way which runs parallel.
Please follow the diversions - proceeding onto the closed cycle track may put you in danger from construction vehicles and could result in a fine of up to £1000!
